About the Daily Painters Guild
We paint.
Every day.
We try to get several paintings done per week, each of us. We come from a variety of backgrounds, experience, training and even spots on the globe.
But we have two things in common: we love to paint all the time. And we love to paint representational art . We love to paint what we see, and infuse these sometimes commonplace things or scenes with our own emotions.
Beginnings
In early 2006 a movement started. A new art movement: Daily Painters.
It seems a growing number of artists were finding each other on the Internet, each describing themselves as a Daily Painter. These artists range in varying degrees of self-discipline from actually starting and finishing one complete painting in one day every day to just painting every day, and completing a few paintings each week. Many of the group appreciatively regard artist Duane Keiser as the Father of Daily Painting.
Artists worldwide started joining the movement, and soon hundreds of people were connecting on the internet, swapping stories, showing their works, and giving each other tips on how to produce, post and sell these daily works of art.

About The Daily Painters Guild
Among the growing numbers of painting enthusiasts were a few distinctly different artists producing high-quality paintings that consistently sell for increasingly higher prices, many of them in auctions on eBay, and others directly from the individual artist's web site. These artists gravitated toward each other, recognizing the unique skill, talent and vision each of the others had. These few mulled over an idea for several months, and finally pulled together to form The Daily Painters Guild in early 2007.
This site is the culmination of careful thought and selection, and we believe it represents some of the finest art and artists of the Daily Painters movement.
